Linda L. Shaw, 74, of Vandalia, IL passed away at 8:20 AM, Sunday, March 20, 2023 at SBL Fayette County Hospital ER.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia with Pastor Timothy Weihrauch officiating. Interment will follow in Griffith Cemetery, Brownstown. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Linda Louise Huskey was born on June 03, 1948 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Marvin and Dorothy (Rayoum) Huskey. She was formerly employed by Owens Brockway and was also a licensed cosmetologist. Linda enjoyed gardening, reading, watching tv, and most of all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
Ms. Shaw is survived by her son, Matt Shaw of Vandalia; daughter, Renee and husband Ryan Sapp of Vandalia; brother, Marty Huskey and wife Nancy of Vandalia; brother, Phil Huskey and wife Kathy of Brownstown; sister, Jeanne Thomas of Brownstown; grandchildren, River Sapp, Cassidy Sapp, and Cheyenne Sapp.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
