Lola Margaret Adermann's Obituary
Lola Margaret (Oberg) Adermann, 91, of Vandalia, died at 12:35
a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Fayette County Hospital in
Vandalia.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Cross
Lutheran Church in Vandalia, with the Revs. Peter Kolb and Jerry
Bagwell officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn
Cemetery in Vandalia. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m.
until time of services on Tuesday at the church. Memorials:
Shriners Hospital for Children or American Diabetes
Association.
Mrs. Adermann was born on June 25, 1922, in Omaha, Neb., the
daughter of Amel and Virginia Prosise Oberg. She married Edwin "Ed"
Adermann on May 29, 1946, in Vandalia.
She worked at the P.N. Hirsch Factory, was a homemaker and also was
a cook at Vandalia Junior High School. She was one of Vandalia's
best pie makers.
She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and American Legion
Auxiliary, both of Vandalia.
She is survived by her husband; son, Merle Adermann and his
wife Georgi of Vandalia; daughters, Genny and her husband Dean
Matzker of Vandalia, and Nori and her husband Dan Pruitt of
Vandalia; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and
sister-in-law, Alvena Noffsinger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marshell
Oberg; granddaughter, Dana Lynn Adermann Brown; grandson, Ryan
Matzker; and great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Patterson.
