Lonnie Lash's Obituary
Lonnie L Lash, 76, of Ramsey, passed away at 5:20pm, Sunday,
December 27, 2015 at Vandalia Rehab and Healthcare Center.
Services for Mr. Lash will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday,
December 30, 2015 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia with
Rev. Bruce Sasse officiating; visitation will be held from
9:00-11:00am prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will
follow the service in Liberty Cemetery, Mulberry Grove with
military rites accorded by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post # 95,
Vandalia, IL and Brownstown VFW Post #9770.  Memorials may be
made to the donor's choice. 
Lonnie was born February 23, 1939 in Sharon Twp. Fayette County,
the son of Emery Mason and Goldie Bell (Manion) Lash.  He
married Nelda Marie Snow on June 8, 1960 in Coffeen, IL and
together they had seven children.  He was a US Marine Corps
Veteran and worked as a mechanic for Wehrle Bros and Conway
Railroad, and for the Vandalia Park District.
Mr. Lash is survived by sons Gerald Lash and wife Janice of
Fillmore, Sammy Lash and wife Nancy of Vera, and Wendell Lash of
Vera; daughters Kathy and husband Lloyd Forson of Vandalia, Ann
Lash of Vandalia, and Amy and husband Daniel Revell of Vandalia;
brother Robert Lash and Ann of Vandalia; sister Debra and husband
Bob Kissiar of Vandalia; grandchildren Jeremy Forson, Joshua Forson
and wife Velana, Jerrod Forson and wife Shanna, Jason Forson and
wife Leann, Justin Forson and wife Carley, Ashley and husband Chris
Blunt, Amanda and husband Brandon Cable, Ryan Lash, Lucas Lash and
Miranda Elam Lash, Nathan Lash, Megan and husband David Hanna,
Nickie Bellville, Austin Bellville, and Daniel Revell Jr.; great
grandchildren Chandler, Dathan, Elizabeth, Anthony, Cerria,
Jazyman, Hunter, Marina, Timber, Harley, Carley, Charlie, Haidin,
Ozzy, Justin, Zachary, Lexie, Darcie, Mira, Gracie, Matthew and
Aaron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Diana Lynn
Lash, brothers Junior Lash and Garry Lash, and granddaughter Haley
Lash.
