Mary Grubaugh's Obituary
Mary Ann Grubaugh, 71, of Vandalia, passed away January 22, 2013
at Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia. 
Services for Mrs. Grubaugh will be held at 2:00pm, Friday,
January 25, 2013 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia with
Rev. Pete LeDuc officiating.  A visitation will be held 1
jopur prior to services Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials
may be made to the family of Mary Grubaugh.
Mrs. Grubaugh was born March 13, 1941in Vandalia, the daughter
of Louie Wallace and Katie Cleo (Phelps) Cable.  She worked at
Johnson, Stephens & Shinkle Shoe Factory, Fayco Enterprises,
and was a homemaker.   She was a member of Crown Point
Community Church. She married Donald C. Grubaugh February 1, 2003,
in Vandalia. 
She is survived by her husband Donald C. Grubaugh of Vandalia;
son John Grubaugh of Vandalia; daughters Kim and husband Tim
DeSherlia of Pana, Nancy Grubaugh and friend Danny Tanner of French
Lick, IN, and Pamela and husband Jim Jacobs of Effingham, IL; step
daughters Rose and husband Michael Mathis of Missouri, Carolyn and
husband Dale Harbison of Vandalia, IL, and Shelly Ledbetter and
fiancé Will Baldoc of Vandalia, IL; sisters Doris Cable and Nina
Geddes both of Vandalia; 3 grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; a
great grandchild on the way; and 10 step great grandchildren. 
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dennie Cable,
Leslie Cable, and Earl Crothers, sister Pauline Lewis.
