Mike McDowell's Obituary
Charles M. "Mike" McDowell, 63, of Vandalia passed away on July
6, 2014 at Springfield Medical Center, Springfield, IL.
A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 10:00am,
Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL with
Rev. Dave Hall officiating. Memorials may be made to the
American Diabetes Association.
Mike was born December 9, 1950, in Vandalia, the son of Charles
and Viola (Siebert) McDowell. He married Barbara Craig on April 26,
1976 in Vandalia. Mike worked as a printer for World
Color Press in Effingham before he retired.
Mike is survived by his wife Barbara McDowell of Vandalia; son
Bryan McDowell of Pontiac; sister Nancy Hurlbrink of Collinsville,
IL; grandchildren Liana, Bobby, Aeden, and Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Amy Jo
McDowell.
