Nelda Lash's Obituary
Nelda Marie Lash, 68, of Ramsey, passed away at 8:27pm,
Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Vandalia Rehab and Healthcare
Center.
Services for Mrs. Lash will be held at 11:00am, Monday,
September 16, 2013 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia with
Rev. Joe Lawson officiating; visitation will be held from
9:00-11:00am prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will
follow the service in Liberty Cemetery, Mulberry Grove.
Memorials may be made to the family of Nelda Lash.
Nelda was born November 14, 1944 in Greenville, IL, the daughter
of Carl R. "Abe" and Helen L. (Wilson) Snow. She
married Lonnie Laverne Lash on June 8, 1960 in Coffeen, IL and
together they had seven children. She worked as a CAN
(certified nursing assistant) for Fayette County Hospital and
Cherrywood Healthcare Center both in Vandalia.
Mrs. Lash is survived by her husband Lonnie of Ramsey; sons
Gerald Lash and wife Janice of Fillmore, Sammy Lash and wife Nancy
of Ramsey, and Wendell Lash of Ramsey; daughters Kathy and husband
Lloyd Forson of Vandalia, Ann Lash of Vandalia, and Amy and husband
Daniel Revell of Vandalia; brother Robert Snow of KY and Roger Snow
and wife Barbara of Loogootee; sister Beverly Whetstone of Bingham;
Grandchildren Jeremy Forson, Joshua Forson, Jarrod Forson, Jason
Forson, Justin Forson, Ashley Blunt, Amanda Lash, Ryan Lash, Lucas
Lash, Nathan Lash, Megan Hanna, Nickie Bellville, Austin Bellville,
and Daniel Revell Jr.; great grandchildren Chandler, Dathan,
Elizabeth, Anthony, Cerria, Jazyman, Hunter, Marina, Harley,
Carley, Charlie, Haiden, Justin, Lexie, Darcie, Mira, Gracie,
Matthew and Aaron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Diana Lynn
Lash, sister Marietta Snow.
