What I loved about Uncle Norman was that he was always ready and willing to help anyone who needed it, which spoke volumes to me about his servant's heart. He was so faithful to help us with chores at the barn, and we didn't even have to ask. His care and concern for his brother and my dad, Maurice, was evident too by all the calls and visits he made. He would take care of daddy's barn when he saw daddy couldn't. It was always such a blessing to see them together. He had a dry sense of humor that so many enjoyed too! Neither one said a whole lot, but their actions were big. I sure will miss seeing him for so many reasons, but thankful for the privilege of knowing him, and the blessing of having him as my uncle.
