Norman Wayne Brown, 75, of Mulberry Grove, passed away
Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana,
IL. 
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, May 21, 2012 at
Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL.  Funeral Services
will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Hohlt & File
Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL.  Burial will follow in McInturff
Cemetery, Hagarstown, IL. Memorials may be made to the American
Cancer Society.
Mr. Brown was born September 10, 1936, the son of Floyd W. and
Edith L. (Hunter) Brown.  He married Wilma (Cearlock) Brown on
May 8, 1955 in Hernado, MS.
He was the Former owner of Brown's Market and Brown's Hardware
in Mulberry Grove, and retired Rural Mail Carrier for the US Postal
Service.  He served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, sons David N. Brown and wife Marcia
of Indianapolis, IN, Paul B. Brown of Silver Springs, MD, and James
E. Brown of Urbana, IL; sister Ilene Gum of North Judson, IN;
grandchildren Jessica and husband Derek Lewis, Danielle Brown,
Jacob Brown, and Laura Brown; great grandchildren Kylie Lewis and
Chloe Mason
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Olive Short
and June Webber-Sitton.
