Norma Wright's Obituary
Norma Lucille Wright, 90, of Vandalia, passed away at 3:50pm,
Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Fayette County Hospital Long Term
Care.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 27,
2013 at Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, IL with Rev. Carl
Rhodes officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to
services at the church. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery,
Vandalia, IL. Memorials may be made to Northside Christian
Church, Vandalia, IL.
Norma was born January 29, 1923, in Burlington, KS, the daughter
of Ralph and Bessie (Schaeffer) Barrett. She married N.E.
"Pat" Wright on November 3, 1946, and he preceded her in death
October 20, 1986. Norma was the owner and operator of Wright
Style Salon in Vandalia, and a member of Northside Christian Church
and the 8 & 40 American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her son Doug Wright and his wife
Debbie of Vandalia; daughter Gail Cocagne of Vandalia; brother
Ralph Barrett Jr of Burlington, KS; grandchildren Michelle and
husband Steve Cearlock of Belleville, IL, Jenny and husband Tapan
Virvani of Indianapolis, IN, Pat Cocagne and wife Toni, Auburn of
IL, Nick Cocagne of Vandalia, IL, and Tim Cocagne of Indianapolis,
IN; great grandchildren Alex, Ashley, and Alexis Cocagne, Zoe and
Jett Cocagne, Jaiden Virvani, Luke and Annie Daniels, and Autumn
and Lauren Cearlock.
