Pamela Ann Keyes was born on November 21, 1959 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Larry Dean and Sue Francis (Kistler) Keyes. She married the love of her life, Steven Randal Sidwell on March 27, 1976. Together, they celebrated 48 years of marriage and raised three children.
Pam owned/operated her own salon at her home in Brownstown for many years. She was later employed by both, SBL Fayette County Hospital and HSHS St. Anthony’s Hospital in Effingham as a secretary. She was definitely one of a kind, had a vibrant personality, and lived life to the fullest. Pam was a Morgan Wallen fanatic; attending two of his concerts within the last month. (Her license plate even read WALLEN). She loved to cheer on her grandson as he raced motorcycles, was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Tennessee Volunteers, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family.
She will forever be remembered by her husband, Steven Sidwell of Brownstown; son, Chris Sidwell and wife Shannon of Vandalia; daughter, Stephanny Brown of Vandalia; brother, Brent Keyes and wife Janet of Brownstown; sister, Cindy and husband Jimmy Summers of Vandalia; grandchildren, Andy Metzger with Emily White, Kaleb Elzey with Sydney Gragert, Max Sidwell, Baelynd Brown, Cazdyn Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mrs. Sidwell was preceded in death by her parents and son, Matthew Sidwell.
