Born on October 20, 1941, to Geneva “Toots” (Hayes) and Nova Rhodes, Patricia grew up with a strong sense of family and a heart full of love. Her life was a testament to devotion, resilience, and warmth. She embraced her roles as a mother, granny, and great-granny with grace and joy, becoming a cherished matriarch to generations.
Patricia was known for her strong spirit and a healthy dose of stubbornness—qualities that made her fiercely loyal, deeply protective, and unapologetically herself. She faced life’s challenges head-on and never backed down from what she believed in. Her presence was a gift, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
She is survived by; her children Renee Elliott, Gregg (Tammy) Nash, Travis (Linda) Nash, and Keila (Josh) Bauerle; her brother Dean (Diane) Rhodes; her many grandchildren, including Bambi (Kevin) Stinebring, Krissy (Josh) Dubbs, Aaron (Kristy) Nash, Becky Nash (Jake), Joey Lester, Zachary Reiss, Zayne Nash, Matthew (Brittany) Nash, Cory Bunker, Tyler (Kelsey) Bunker, Abrielle Bunker (Carson Ruot), numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bobbie Rhodes, sister-in-law Patty Rhodes, son-in-law Barry Elliott, and granddaughter Nikki Elliott. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.”
