Randy Meyer's Obituary
Randy Dean Meyer, 62, of Farina passed away at 10:48pm, January
13, 2016 at Fayette County Hospital ER, Vandalia.
Services for Mr. Meyer will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, January
17, 2016 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia with visitation
from Noon until 2:00pm, prior to services. Burial will follow
in Pinhook Cemetery, rural Vandalia. In lieu of flowers the
family have requested memorials be made to the Family of Randy
Meyer to help with funeral cost.
Randy was born August 7, 1953 in Vandalia, the son of Albert
William Meyer and Winona Oliver Childress. He worked over
twenty years at Vandalia FS. He was a member of Haley Chapel
United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL and Brownstown Golden Years
Club.
He is survived by his mother Winona Childress of Brownstown, IL;
sisters Kim Jakse of Brownstown, IL and Sharon Kay Druen and
husband Dave of Earlville, IL; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, brother Ronnie William
Meyer and sister Beth Meyer.
