Rebecca Ann D'Angelo's Obituary
Rebecca Ann “Becky” D’Angelo, Age 40, of Vandalia, IL, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, in her home. Becky was born on February 6, 1984, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, to her parents, Daniel and Sharon D’Angelo. She attended Northwest High School in Cedar Hill, Missouri.
Becky loved to laugh, and her contagious smile would light up the room. Throughout her life, Becky was a free spirit and made many friends everywhere she went. She is like a butterfly that appears near us and shines like a sunbeam for a split second, bringing grandeur and beauty to our world, and then it takes off once more. Even if we would have liked for it to stay, we are lucky we got to see it. Becky had a gypsy soul and a heart as big as a field of wildflowers. She loved her family very much, especially the kids, and we all loved her right back!
She is survived by her Nana, LeeAnn Conway, of the home; brother, Daniel (Terri Sue) D’Angelo of Winona, MO; God Parents, Debbie Votaw and Mike D’ Angelo; sisters of her heart, Brandy, Lindsey, Molly, and their children, Candace, Julian, Conway, and Layla; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and special friend, Bill McClary and their dog, Denver.
Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Sharon (Kile) D’ Angelo; paternal grandparents, Vincent and Micki D’Angelo; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Juanita Kile; cousins, Caitlin Kile, Melissa Keller, Duston Conway, Luke Kile, and Vicky Hardy; and uncle, Raymond Kile.
Her brother, Daniel, said it best, "Our only comfort is to know she is where she always wanted to be, with Mom and Dad."
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri, with Danny and Janet Kile officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12-1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Horner Cemetery, Winona.
Arrangements are entrusted to Yarber Mortuary of Winona, MO https://www.yarbermortuary.com/ and Hohlt & File Funeral Home of Vandalia, IL.
