Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Shuckhart, 61, of Ramsey, IL, passed away at 11:02 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at SBL Fayette County Hospital.
In accordance with Becky’s wishes cremation rites will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447 with a meal provided. Rebecca Lynn Perkins was born on May 02, 1960 in Hillsboro, IL, the daughter of Lloyd David Perkins and Ann Lucille (Lewis) Perkins Cothern. She married Ricky Alan Shuckhart on June 28, 1980 at Ramsey Lake State Park. Together, they celebrated 41 years of marriage and raised three children.
Becky had various jobs throughout the years; but was primarily a homemaker, looking after her three children as they grew up. She enjoyed the outdoors; whether it be yard work, gardening, or her personal favorite, front porch sittin’. Becky also cherished the time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Mrs. Shuckhart is survived by her husband, Rick Shuckhart of Ramsey; daughter, Krystal Lynn Shuckhart of Ramsey; son, Adam James Shuckhart and friend, Ieasha of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Tyler Nicole Shuckhart of Ramsey; siblings, Sandy and husband, Michael Davies of Pittsfield, Ron Perkins and wife, Shelly of Salem, Sue and husband, Dean Bricker of Chatham, and Kris and husband, Norman Luster of Ramsey; and her grandchildren, Avery Shuckhart, Kane Killiebrew, Kole Killiebrew, Ally Shuckhart, Arianna Shuckhart, Lucas Caceres, and Kylan Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
