Rebekah J. Carman, 49, of Mulberry Grove, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 01, 2025 in Bloomington.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 06, 2025 at Crown Point Church, rural Vandalia with Rev. Pete Leduc officiating. Interment will follow in McInturff Cemetery, rural Vandalia. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, at the church. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Rebekah’s daughter, Lola Carman for her future endeavors. Online condolences can be expressed at https://www.hohltandfilefh.com.
Born on December 28, 1975, in Vandalia, IL, Rebekah Jolene Carman was the beloved daughter of Danny Joe and Joyce Elaine (Bowen) Carman. Throughout her career, Rebekah dedicated herself as a dental surgery assistant, serving in various roles and locations. Known for her intelligence, quick wit, and sense of humor, she brought joy to those around her.
Above all, Rebekah was a devoted mother who cherished every moment with her daughter, Lola, especially watching Lola cheer at countless events. She was also a loving sister and aunt, treasuring the time spent with her siblings, nieces, and nephews.
She will forever be remembered by her daughter, Lola Carman of Bloomington; sister, Elizabeth Krut and husband Derek of Normal; sister, Sarah Boatman and husband Frank of Mulberry Grove; brother, Daniel “Bo” Carman of Greenville; nieces and nephews, Dylan, Jakob, Jack, Grace, Olivia, Kaden, Daniel, Matthew, Joshua, and Katelyn; extended family and numerous friends.
Rebekah was preceded in death by her parents, Danny and Joyce Carman.
