Reno J. Keith Sr., 65, of Vandalia, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 06, 2025 at Vandalia Healthcare & Senior Living.
Per Reno’s wishes, cremation rites will take place. There will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com
Reno Jay Keith was born on July 17, 1959 in Waukegan, Lake County, IL, the son of William Michel and Julian Rose (Straley) Keith. Reno was a simple man who loved the outdoors and his rock and roll music.
He will forever be remembered by his son, Billy Keith (Liz) of Kenosha, WI; daughter-in-law, Buffie Robson of Vandalia; grandchildren, Justyna Keith (Steven), Mackenzie Bruke Bowen (Andrew), Nathan Keith, Ava Keith, and Violet Keith; three bonus grandsons, David, Adam, and Austin (Toni); two bonus great-grandchildren, Genesis and Tobias; brother, Jimmy; sisters, Peggy and Shelly; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends & all of the loving staff at Vandalia Healthcare.
Mr. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; son, Reno Jay Keith Jr.; and two sisters, Penny and Robin.
