Jim Stauffer
Roberta was my cousin. While there is not one outstanding event shared by us, we were close as cousins when both still at home.
Her father and his brother, my father, were the closest of the 6 brothers in their family and as a result her father and mother would often visit us 90 miles away and we all got along very well.
I have not had a lot of contact with Roberta since we became adults, married and had our own families. I do know she had some very serious health issues that she fought and overcame.
Simply stated she was a great gal. Fun to be around. We always looked forward to and enjoyed the visits.
I am saddened by her loss. We are all on the short end of this life. My prayers and thoughts go out to her family as I know they will miss her very much.
