Rochelle Moulton's Obituary
Rochelle Moulton, 86, of Brownstown, died at 10:37 PM, Monday,
April 9, 2012 at her family home.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, April 13,
2012 at Fairlawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5-8 Pm,
Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of
Vandalia. Memorials may be made to Fayette County Health
Dept. Hospice.
Mrs. Moulton was born April 28, 1925, in Sefton Twp.,
Fayette County, daughter of Elvy C. and Emma H. (Carson)
Workman. She married Carl Moulton on July 6, 1948 in
Effingham, IL.
She was the former owner of the Redwood Inn of Vandalia,
IL from 1967-1987 and a member of the Vandalia Chapter 1935 Women
of The Moose.
She is survived by sons Jerry Moulton and wife
Quita, Chebanse, IL, Joe Moulton and wife Cindy, Vandalia, IL, and
Greg Moulton, Vandalia, IL daughters Linda Lawler and husband Leon,
Mulberry Grove, IL, Sue Mey, Vandalia, IL, Becky Hartman, Vandalia,
IL, and Tonya Langston and husband Matt, Ramsey, IL; step son Carol
Moulton and wife Ardella, Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren Jeff
Moulton, Angie Siebert, Sarah Clark, Brian Mey, Shannon Hull, Shawn
Beier, Matthew Langston, Josh Moulton, and Kayla Moulton;18 Great
Grandchildren and 6 Great-great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by parents, husband, twin brother
at infancy, and sister Invaline Turner.
