Rodrick Gene Troxell, 73, of Shobonier passed away on January 15, 2017 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.
Cremation rites will be accorded; No services are scheduled at this time.
Gene was born October 21, 1943 in Vandalia, the son of William P and Nellie P (Jones) Troxell. He married Jeannine Ellison August 20, 1960. Gene was an Iron Worker for Local 396 out of St. Louis, MO.
He is survived by his wife Jeannine of Shobonier, sons Randy Troxell and wife Lisa of Shobonier and Jason Troxell and wife Robin of Ramsey, brothers Mike, Jimmy Joe, and Ray Troxell, sister Lovetta Younker, grandchildren Amber Osborne, Kyle Troxell, and Nicole Troxell, great grandchildren Jocelynn, Bronson, Baylor and Declan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sonya Troxell and sister Geraldine Troxell.
