Roger Branum's Obituary
Roger K. Branum, 70, of Addieville, IL, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, August 09, 2025 at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Per Roger’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or to an organization of the donor’s choice.
Roger Kenneth Branum was born on January 09, 1955 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Arlie Kenneth and Edna E. (Yenny) Branum.
For many years, Roger worked as a tree trimmer before eventually becoming a lineman. He was a humble, down-to-earth man who appreciated the simple things in life. Roger loved riding his motorcycle and cherished spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.
Mr. Branum is survived by his son, Alex Branum and wife Anne of Belleville; daughter, Hilary Packard of St. Louis; granddaughter, Violet Branum of Belleville; brother, Max Branum and wife Nina of Edinburg; sisters, Patty and husband John Woolsey of Vandalia, Peggy and husband John Beckmeier of Vandalia, Pam and husband Armando Rodriguez of Katy, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Branum.
