Ronald Moler's Obituary
Ronald L. Moler passed away at 5:45pm, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at
Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, June 2,
2016 at the First Church of God, rural Vandalia with Rev. Alvin
Dial officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00am
prior to services at the church.  Burial will follow in
Griffith Cemetery, Brownstown.  Memorials may be made to FCH
Long Term Care Activity Fund, First Church of God, or Sarah Bush
Lincolnland Hospice.m
Ron was born February 4, 1939 in Decatur, the son of Luther and
Florence (Taylor) Moler.  He married Kathryn Swafford March
18, 1961 in Decatur.  Ron worked maintenance for Fedders
Manufacturing and was a member of the First Church of God and
volunteered/participated at Brownstown VFW Post 9770.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn Moler of Vandalia; daughters
Ronda Glispie of Richview, Penny and husband John Dowell of Ramsey,
and Terri and husband Jim Peters of Vandalia; brother Luther Moler
and wife Donna of Hillsboro; sister Beverly Byington of Clinton;
grandchildren Joshua Gatewood and girlfriend Amanda, Jason Gatewood
and wife Lindsay, Ashley and husband Steve Harre, Geoffrey Crabtree
and fiancé Kayla, Keith Peters and girlfriend Andrea, and Jayla and
husband Tyler Mullenix; great grandchildren Dylan Peters, Tymber
Harre, Hunter Harre, Landon Crabtree, Briley Gatewood, Zoee
Coleman, Vayda Mullenix, and Krueger Mullenix; anticipated great
grandson Baby Peters in July; and Briley's mom and family
friend,  Allison.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Pearl Moler
and Florence and Jim Young, and sister Florence Wilfong.
