Sam was a generous person. I have done business with him and his company for over 15 years and he would always make sure our needs were met. He was a friend as well and will be missed greatly. My condolences go out to his loved ones. Rest In Peace my friend. Dave Boston
Sam Durbin has been a giant in the geothermal heat pump world, helping to build this industry across southern and central Illinois and neighboring state for the past 15-plus years. I considered Sam a friend, supporter and fine man. First class in my book. Sam was an incorporating member of the Geothermal Alliance of Illinois and a supporter from the beginning of our group. Hadn’t known Sam but few years but long enough to know he was a hard working very friendly family man. He always mentioned how proud he was of his family. Every visit for me with him had its business, it’s lesson and it’s humor of course . I’ll miss my friendship with him and pray for the family

Although Sam wasn't my dad I always wished he was. I would ask him why he wasn't my dad(i was young) and he would tell me I am your dad! As a young girl I would smile ear to ear! Just a year ago he asked me to come down for Thanksgiving but I did not make it which I regret 100%! Sam was a very wise man and it showed thru his work and businesses. Words can't explain the hurt I felt when my brother texted me and told me Sam was gone. He is in a better place now and is no longer suffering! To the real family of Sam Durbin my deepest condolences to you guys he will be missed by so many!
