Scott T. Brownell, 66, of Vandalia, IL passed away Sunday, Augusts 03, 2025 at his home.
Per the family’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com.
Scott Timothy Brownell was born on June 10, 1959 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Gerald J. and Roberta J. (Englar) Brownell.
Scott had a wonderful, playful personality. He enjoyed working on vehicles and was passionate about gaming, especially World of Warcraft. Recently, he moved to the area to be closer to his beloved daughter, Jessicia. He cherished the time spent with his family and friends, who were like family to him.
He will forever be remembered by his daughter, Jessicia Brannen with Jadi of Vandalia; stepdaughter, Amy Hanson of Petersburg, VA; granddaughter, Keera Edland; grandson, Nathan Wiers and wife Autumn; great-grandchildren, Harper, Rosie, Toby, and Millie; siblings, Sue, Steve, and Sam; extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Sheldon.
