Stanley Oldham's Obituary
Stanley W. Oldham passed away at 9:35am, Tuesday, August 2, 2016
at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, August 6,
2016 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia with Rev. Carl
Rhodes and Rev. Pete LeDuc officiating. Visitation will be held
from 9:00-11:00am prior to services.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, August 19,
2016 at Pilcher Cemetery, Brownstown with military rites accorded
at graveside by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post # 95, Vandalia,
IL & Brownstown VFW Post #9770.
Memorials may be made to the family of Stanley Oldham to help
with funeral expenses.
Stanley was born September 8, 1943, the son of Charles and Helen
(Thompson) Oldham. He was a member of Northside Christian
Church and the Men's Group at Crown Point Church. Stanley
worked for Orgill in Vandalia for many years and served in the US
Army.
He is survived by his son Stanley L. Oldham and wife Terri,
daughter Jaynie Oldham, grandchildren Haley Oldham, Gregory Oldham,
Jordyn Terry, and Samuel Terry, great grandson Hunter Watts all of
Vandalia, brothers Kenny Oldham and Gene Oldham, and sisters Alice
Ward, Doris Moulton, Cathy Gipson, Joyce Oldham, Joanne Neal, Karen
Atteberry, Ruth Lovall, Judy Lovall, and Nancy Braun.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dave
Oldham.
