Susan Davis' Obituary
Susan Diane Davis, 72, of Vandalia passed away at 1:45pm,
January 21, 2014 at Fayette County Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, January
28, 2014 at Mother of Dolors Catholic Cemetery, inside of the
Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL with Rev. Carl Rhodes
officiating. Memorials may be made to the family of Susan
Davis.
Susan was born November 13, 1941 in Vandalia, the daughter of
Robert L. and Jeanne C. (Leihser) Burtschi. She worked as a
bank teller for Nation Bank in Vandalia and as a receptionist for
the Vandalia YMCA.
Susan is survived by her sons Mark Davis and Christina Bennett,
Cass Davis, Austin Davis, Robert Davis; sister Cindy and husband
Hugh Good; grandchildren Carter Davis, Colden Davis, and
Christopher Bennett; close friends Roxann Brannon and Mary
Stringer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and
brother Robert David Burtschi.
