Tara DePew McEwen's Obituary
Tara Noel DePew McEwen, 48,
of Foristell, Missouri, was called to heaven on January 30,
2015. She lost her brave fight against lung
cancer.
Tara was born
December 26, 1966 in Centralia, Illinois to Carol Tackett Melowitz
and Larry DePew. She was married to Marvin McEwen in May of
1992.
She was survived by her parents;
husband; children, Dustin McEwen, Brandon McEwen, Tia McEwen Miller
and Zac Miller; her grandchildren Cayden Schuman and Zayne Miller;
her siblings, Adam DePew, Brandon DePew and Megan DePew Goostere;
her grandmothers, Ann DePew and Alma Conoyer; her aunts Teresa
DePew Caldwell, Ardith DePew McFarland, Doris Tackett McConkey and
Linda Tackett Reichert; and her uncle, Ken Tackett.
She was preceded in death by
grandparents Minnie Kistler Tackett and Noah Tackett, James DePew,
Bob Conoyer; and aunt Linda DePew Leidner.
Tara worked at Citibank for 14
years in various positions eventually becoming the top of her team
as a loan mortgage coordinator.
A memorial to celebrate Tara's
life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 6, 2015 at German
Reform Cemetery in Farina, Illinois. Flowers can be sent to
Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia, Illinois.
