Rube was a friend of my dad "Sparky" Hawthorne and my mom Barb. I remember how nice he was and never saw him without that huge smile. Deepest sympathy to the family; may he rest in peace.
Rube was so fun! Always had a ready smile or a remark to make that made ya laugh! Known and loved by so many! My deepest condolences to the family. Love you all and know he will be so missed.
My late husband, Jim Jenkins and Jerry Jansen were friends and through them and the liquor association I meet Rube some 20+ years ago. I always found him to be a man you could trust and depend on. No matter where he was he always said HI to you and made you feel like he really was glad to see you. I know he will be greatly missed by all. My thoughts and prayers and with you. Wilma Jenkins
