Thomas Leroy "Tom" Grames, 65, of Loogootee, passed away at 7:24
pm, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Fayette County Hospital ER.

Tom was born December 12, 1947 in St. Elmo, the son of Clinton
and Hazel (Townsend) Grames.
After High School Tom enlisted in the US Army Corps of Engineers
and served during the Vietnam War. He worked for a variety of
employers throughout the years, starting at Fedders in St.
Elmo;Altamont Pant Factory; to most recently Vandalia Wal-Mart.
Tom was married in the eyes of God to his long time companion
Barbara Becker. He believed in the Baptist faith.
Tom is survived by his mother Hazel Grames of Altamont; wife
Barbara Becker, Loogootee, IL; son Calvin Grames and friend Staci
Margenthaler of Humboldt, IL; step daughters Rebecca Morche of
Belleville, MI and Eva and husband Dan Fischer of St. Louis, MO;
step son Paul Carl Becker of Loogootee, IL; brothers Gary Grames of
St. Elmo, IL, Dwight Grames of Brownstown, IL, and Dick Grames of
Altamont, IL; sisters Mary Ann Kline of Altamont, IL, Nellie and
husband John Johnson of Altamont, IL, and Martha Merrill of
Shelbyville, IL; and grandchildren Luke Grames, Mannie Grames, Shay
Margenthaler, Allyssa Becker, Lauren Becker, and Dalton
Miculinich.
He was preceded I ndeath by his father, brother Dennis Grames,
sisters Nina Lee and Carolyn Grames.
