I have fond memories of Tim from when he was one of my confirmands when I was pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Augsburg. He had a keen sense of humor and a playful spirit. My heart breaks with the saints at Augsburg and especially for Scott, Karen, Travis, Janice and Amanda. Yet, with sorrow, there is also anticipation for a wonderful reunion in heaven with those who have gone before us. May the peace of Christ comfort us in the face of things we do not fully understand and may we find comfort in the knowledge of Christ's love for us sinners and His victory over death that assures our eternal happiness.
