My sympathies to all of the family. Velva was a wonderful lady. She was so good with our children as our babysitter until we moved from Vandalia in 1987. We never had to worry about our babies as we knew what great care she provided to them. May she Rest In Peace.

Eldon, I am currently out of the State and will not return prior to the funeral on Friday. You and Velma are an important part of the Saturday night Church Family. Velva will be missed by those how knew and loved her, but, we also know that she is resting in our Father's loving arms. She fought th good fight.
