Wolfram Schilcht's Obituary
Wolfram Schlicht, 74, of Vandalia passed away at 9:55am,
Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his home in Vandalia.
Per Wolfram's wishes his body was donated to science via SIU
School of Medicine.
A reception to celebrate Wolfram's life will be held on April 3,
2016 at Wesley Hall inside the Vandalia First United Methodist
Church immediately following normal church services.
Burial will be held at a later date in Jefferson Barracks
National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO
Mr. Schlicht was born November 14, 1941 in Berlin, Germany, the
son of Frank and Charlotte (Rossbach) Schlicht. Wolfram
served in the US Navy, was a member of the First United Methodist
Church of Vandalia, and was retired engineer from the railroad.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jean "Jeanne" Schlicht, his
children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters in laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter
Samantha Randolph.
