Barbara "Bobbie" Vaughan's Obituary
Barbara "Bobbie" Vaughan, 67, of Vandalia, IL passed away at
9:21am, Monday, March 11, 2013 at Fayette County Hospital LTC.
Services for Mrs. Vaughan will be held at 10:00am, Saturday,
March 16, 2013 at Vandalia First United Methodist Church with Dr.
Roger Grimmett, officiating; burial will follow in Fairlawn
Cemetery, Vandalia.  Visitation will be held from 5-8pm,
Friday, March 15, 2013 at Vandalia First United Methodist Church
and 1 hour prior to services at the church Saturday. 
Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Women.
Bobbie was born January 29, 1946 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of
William and Lola (Stone) Horn.  She married Leslie "Les"
Vaughan on August 6, 1971 in Decatur.  She was a member of the
Vandalia First United Methodist Church where she was a very active
member with the United Methodist women, and involved with the
children and youth groups; she was a Girl Scout leader for many
years.  Bobbie had retired from Vandalia Community School
District as a cook. 
She is survived by her mother Lola Horn of Sullivan, IL; husband
Les Vaughan of Vandalia; daughters Renee Frost of Sullivan and
Carrie and husband Chris Whitten of Vandalia; son Andy Vaughan of
Vandalia; sister Diana and husband Ed Quinton of Collierville, TN;
and grandchildren Meghan Frost, Andrew Frost, Sophie Whitten, Ellie
Whitten, Paige Dodson, and Blake Torbeck. 
She was preceded in death by her father William Horn.
