Betty was a very sweet person. Always had a smile on her face and had a smile for those who came upon her. She will be missed by many. R.I.P. Betty.
I was blessed to know Betty and call her my friend. The same with her sister, Jane. Her brother Tom who worked with me and my family in Vandalia radio, was one of the smartest,hard-working and truly compassionate man I've ever known. The Isbells were a class family! I and I'm sure that all who knew Betty, Jane and Tom miss them all and cherish the time we've had with them.
BETTY AND I WERE FRIENDS DURING ALL OF OUR SCHOOL YEARS. SINCE HIGH SCHOOL WE HAVE STAYED IN TOUCH ALMOST WEEKLY BY PHONE AND WHEN IN VANDALIA IN PERSON.WE WERE CHAIR & CO-CHAIR OF OUR 50TH CLASS REUNION AND A JOY TO WORK WITH. WITH OUR 60TH COMING UP WE WILL ALL FEEL A SADNESSS OF OUR LOSS. BETTY WE WILL ALL MISS YOU.GOODBYE (BETTY BOO)
