Frances Marie Mote, 83, of Vandalia passed away at 10:59am, Monday, August 15, 2016 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family. Per family's wishes no services will be held and cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Read Obituary
So sorry for the loss of France, she was my sister and I was very close to her. I will miss her wit and laughter, She was always there for me, since I was a child. I will always love her with all my heart. I know she is in heaven with her other family members waiting for the rest of us. RIP France

I have good memories of Frances, she was a kind soul. It was good to get to know her and have a few neighborly chats, during tough times. I wish only peace and prosperity for her family.

I was saddened to learn of Frances' passing. She & Bob were our good neighbors for several years in Patoka & I always enjoyed seeing Frances occasional in Vandalia, stopping to catch up on each other's lives.

I am sorry to hear about the death of Frances. I feel honored to have her as a cousin. My dad was her Uncle Mutt (Paul E. Copper).
