Linda L. Leidner, 71, of Vandalia passed away at 4:15pm, Saturday, October 19, 2013 at her home in Vandalia. Services for Mrs. Leidner will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Bethel Baptist Church of Vandalia with Read Obituary
Linda was a jewel and wonderful with children. I never saw her become angry with a child and never heard her raise her voice to a child. Children behaved for her because they did not want to disappoint her as she always expected the best of them. I will always consider it a blessing to have known her and to have had her as an example of what a Christian life should be.

Steve and I are so very sorry for your loss. Linda was a very special woman who touched the lives of so many children over the years!! She seemed to take each and every student under her wing and treat them all so special!! She will never be forgotten.
